presented yesterday at the Ministry of Economic Development - Department of Communications the Beacon project (Brazilian- European Consortium for DTT Services), co-funded by the European Commission under the Sixth Framework Programme which collects and public partners individuals from different European countries and Brazil, to develop services for T-Learning on Digital Terrestrial aimed at fostering social inclusion. A meeting, organized by this Ministry and the Fondazione Ugo Bordoni (FUB), dedicated to "ICT technology for social inclusion and aims to illustrate the application of digital terrestrial TV, developed by the Consortium euro-Brazilian, with the specific objective operate on two different standards used in Europe and Brazil (respectively, DVB-MHP and ISDTV-T), so as to reach a greater flexibility of content and services with respect to the platforms used and concrete results in the e-Inclusion. more>>
